The auctioneer acts as an agent for the seller. All items are described to the best of our knowledge, but the condition and authenticity of an item is the sole responsibility of the prospective buyer. Condition reports can be requested using the form on the Sunbury Auction website and through www.easyliveauction.com. Any information received as a result of this should be taken only as opinion and should not be taken as fact. Placing a bid is seen as acceptance of any faults that an auction lot may possess , and placing a bid is the bidder acknowledge this.

Payment and collection. We accept both cash and card payments. Card payments can be taken using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and Paypal. We are not currently taking payments made by personal cheque.

Clearing will only be permitted during the auction if the buyer is using cash as their payment method. The credit card reader will not be available for use until the auction has come to an end.

If you have successfully won auction lots using the online agent, an invoice will be sent out within 24 hours and will include a postage option.

All non-payers will be banned from all future auctions.

If you have left an absentee bid and have been successful in winning auction lots, you are welcome to collect your lots in person. Please contact us before hand using the details on the contact us page. We do not have a permanent residence and use a hired venue for all our auctions, and lots are stored elsewhere.

Postage and packaging. At Sunbury Auctions we offer a very reasonable postage and packaging service for our bidders who are unable to attend the auction and collect items in person. We charge a flat rate £6 admin fee regardless of the number of lots won. An exception will only be made if we are forced to split a large invoice into two separate parcels. We then will only charge you the actual postage cost set by Royal Mail, or ParcelForce for larger and heavier parcels . All parcels will be sent via a trackable service that will require a signature upon delivery. Please note that we are unable to insure parcels for damage, as many of our items are exempted from such by Royal Mail. However, if you would like a parcel to be sent via Special Delivery and to the value of the item, please request an updated invoice before paying any delivery charges.

All small parcels up to 2kg are insured with a maximum of £20 for loss, and only if the contents does not fall into a category exempted by Royal Mail. All larger parcels exceeding 2kg are insured for loss up to £100 and then only if the contents does not fall into a category that is exempted from compensation by ParcelForce. In the unfortunate event that a parcel is lost in transit, the buyer will be responsible for making a claim to either Royal Mail or ParcelForce. We will gladly assist in this if required. A full list of prices can be found at the Post Office official website.

Sunbury Auction only uses Royal Mail. No other courier may be used on the initiative of the buyer.

Please be assured that great care will be taken with your items. They will be packed securely and usually despatched next working day.
